SCHOOL CURRENT NEWS LETTER:
Esteemed Parents,
I greet you with the best greetings by saying As-salaam Alaikumwaramatullahiwabarakat, as usual permit me to use this medium to update you on the activities and prospect of the school.
ACADEMICS
I give thanks to Allah, that normalcy has returned to our academic calendar, all academic activities is full back to school. With this momentum our students have continue to soar higher, they all performed extremely well in the just concluded 2021/2022 first term Academic session examination.
BOARDING HOUSE
Our boarding house and hostel have been upgraded and equipped, majority of our staff now reside in the school quarters, including our new Arab expertriate from Egypt, Sheik Ali.
Note: Genotype and Bg texts are to be conducted by the school accredited lab for all new boarders at a discount rate of #2,000
WAEC RESULT
I am pleased to inform you that the last WAEC result is out and our students did Excellently well, with 95% of them having above 7 credits, including English and Maths
LIST OF ITEMS FOR BOARDERS
Most boarder are still lagging in the basic things needed for a comfortable stay in the boarding house, a list is attached to this letter where items each students needed is marked, all these items are now available for sale in the school at reasonable price.
GAME PALACE & E-LIBRARY
If you will agree with me that in WAS-LAT SCHOOL we do not only learn, but we learn with fun, we now have a well equipped game palace where our students can relax and play educative games that will broading their minds & brains. Also, our library has been upgraded to an ICT standard. We now have a full ventilated E-library where students/teacher carry out research at will to improve theirself.
WALIMATUL-LI-QUR’AN
I also wish to inform you that the school annual walimatul-li-qur’an ceremony will be coming up on February 13th,2022 inside the school compound. This is in fulfillment of our promise to make sure our students memories and read the Qur’an fluently before graduation.
